We invite you to attend a Women in Rice: Extension Forum. It will be an inspiring event dedicated to empowering women in the rice industry. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow growers, share knowledge and build networks.
Over lunch the Rice Extension team will present on Designing our pathway together. Then Jenny McLeod, Policy and Communication Manager of CICL and the new Chair of National Irrigators, and Tracey Valenzisi, Chair Murrumbidgee Irrigation, will give a short presentation and participate in a Q&A session — a fantastic opportunity to sit and chat.
This pilot program is a collaboration between the Ricegrowers Association (RGA), Rice Extension and Irrigation Research and Extension Committee (IREC). It is designed to give women a space to enhance their skills and knowledge in critical areas of farm operations, particularly in mixed irrigation farming.
